Oak arm chair / Cadair freichiau dderw

A remarkable 17th century panelled oak armchair with a shaped cresting rail and carved back panel, the top and middle rail have punched and scratch carved decoration. The partially enclosed base is rare. Good rich amber colour. Possibly Welsh circa 1640
