Lovespoon /Llwy Garu
A rare original Welsh lovespoon.

The spoon is carved from a single piece of pine. It has three panels and each one is inset with parchment and inscribed:

Dated or initialled lovespoons are found occasionally but it is very unusual and rare to find an original lovespoon
with so much information, it is not only dated, but has the maker’s and the recipient’s name and address.
